A little about me

I believe that the human soul longs for depth, meaning, and connection beyond what many experience in the busyness of everyday life. In the therapeutic space we create together, you are invited into a safe, compassionate environment where healing, self-discovery, and growth can unfold. Life's challenges — including painful and traumatic experiences — can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. My commitment is to walk alongside you as you move toward healing and wholeness, empowering you to live with greater clarity, purpose, and vitality, both personally and vocationally.

Before you arrive in my office, you bring with you a rich story shaped by many experiences. My own path began as a registered nurse, where I worked with people and families in moments of vulnerability and transition. My deep curiosity about the human heart and a growing sense of calling led me to pursue further training, bringing me to my work today as a clinical psychologist and spiritual director. Along the way, I completed a clinical internship at the Danielsen Institute at Boston University, where I received specialized training in the integration of psychology, spirituality, and faith. I also hold a certificate in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy, which strengthens my ability to offer holistic, body-centered care.

Because of this diverse background — nursing, spiritual direction, and psychology — you can expect a relational, integrated approach. I attend to the mind, body, and spirit as interconnected aspects of healing, honoring the fullness of who you are.

You may carry experiences that have shaped you in profound ways: trauma and PTSD, anxiety, mood concerns, grief and loss, stress, relational difficulties, life transitions, or spiritual and existential questions. In our work together, you'll have space to explore these experiences with care and intention. I will tailor our therapeutic experience together to your unique needs, integrating modalities thoughtfully so you can experience meaningful and lasting change.

Alongside my clinical work, I am honored to serve as the Center's fourth executive director.

Clergy and church consultation

In addition to psychotherapy, I am deeply passionate about supporting clergy and faith communities. Having grown up in the church and worked extensively with spiritual leaders, I understand both the beauty and the complexity of ministry. I provide consultation for clergy and congregations navigating seasons of challenge or crisis, and I offer seminars and retreats on topics such as emotional intelligence, mental health, life map, conflict resolution, and cultivating healthy organizational relationships. I also facilitate clergy groups — safe, hospitable spaces where leaders from various denominations can share their experiences, discern together, and receive support for the demands of ministry.

Spiritual direction

For over 20 years, I have also offered spiritual direction, accompanying those who desire to deepen their relationship with God and explore their inner spiritual life. Spiritual direction provides a gentle, attentive space for reflection, discernment, and growth — whether you are seeking clarity in your calling, exploring questions of meaning and purpose, or navigating spiritual struggles. It is a place where your story can be heard with care and where your spiritual journey can be nurtured with intention.
